Thank you for your interest in my book!
I'm Denis Kalinkin and in this book, my two great hobbies - golf and literature - became a little golf ball adventure.
As a big golf enthusiast and keen to popularise this wonderful game, I wrote this book for parents who, as well as teaching their child something new, want to broaden their own horizons and try something new for the first time.
There are a lot of stereotypes and even misconceptions about golf: some think it is an elitist hobby available only to a few, some have heard of the extreme complexity of the rules and techniques, and some don't even know that there are golf courses in Estonia.
All of the above was once true for me, and the fact that I picked up a golf club for the first time four years ago can be considered pure coincidence. But it goes without saying that golf is now an integral part of my summer leisure.
I hope you and your child will enjoy the book and I hope you decide to play golf for the first time one day - just like the main character in my story!
Thank you again for your interest in my book and for your support in purchasing it for the Tallinn Children's Hospital Support Fund!
